Our Real Estate team works with you and the other professionals involved in your transaction so that you can have confidence in the decisions you make on your home ownership journey.


Purchase

Congratulations! Your offer has been accepted – now what?

Our Real Estate team will work with the other professionals involved in your transaction to ensure that you get possession of your new home on the date you have agreed.

We will review the purchase contract, prepare the necessary documents to close your deal on time and meet with you to review and sign the legal documents.

Once everything is in order we complete the purchase process, ensure that you have good title to your new home and provide a final reporting package to you.


Sale

You negotiated a sale price, the hard work is done! Now you need the support of our Real Estate team to ensure that you are paid and any mortgages you have on the property are dealt with appropriately.

Our Real Estate team will work with you, your mortgage lender and your municipality to prepare the necessary legal documents to complete the sale of your property. Our services include title and tax searches, review of reports and certificates relating to your property and imposing appropriate conditions on the buyer pending the closing of the sale.

Once the sale of your property has closed, our team will register the discharge of your mortgage, complete relevant payouts and ensure that the sale proceeds are deposited to you. Our service will be complete when you receive your final report from us.


Refinance

You’ve decided to refinance your property. We know that thousands of people refinance their properties in Alberta every year and there are lots of reasons for doing this. Our Real Estate team will guide you through the obligations and liabilities that you are agreeing to under the terms of your new mortgage or loan. We ensure that the new arrangements are registered on title and our work with you will be complete once you receive your final report from us.


Fees

We work on a fixed fee basis. This means that our quote will include our professional fee and regular anticipated disbursements. You can be sure of the cost before you begin the process with us.


However, there are of course situations that will fall outside of the normal courses of action described above. In those cases fees will likely increase but you will know this prior to beginning work with us.
